The Bridge vs. Implant Analogy: How to Explain Bone Loss Simply
When presenting treatment plans, dentists often struggle to explain complex bone resorption and preparation mechanics. Dr. Trần …

High-volume, live-patient implant training in one of Asia's most active clinical environments. From single-unit placements to full-arch rehabilitation — under direct supervision of Dr. Trần Thanh Phong, Vietnam's foremost implantologist.
Why Kaiyen Exists
"Most general dentists are capped by their clinical training. The elite tiers of implant care have been locked behind exorbitant costs and Western centers rate-limited by patient volume."
Kaiyen inverts this model entirely. By locating our operations in high-growth Asian clinical hubs, we harness a rich case volume that enables students to place far more implants per course. Our internationally credentialed faculty travel directly to the students, keeping tuition accessible. The result: more hands-on repetitions, immediate clinical confidence, and comprehensive advanced capability — at a fraction of Western costs.
Built to open surgical knowledge that was historically gated behind cost and geography.
We reject proprietary gatekeeping. Our evidence-based protocols, surgical recordings, and digital workflows are fully transparent, supported by a lifelong active alumni peer network.
Premium post-graduate training at destination-market pricing. We bring world-class international faculty directly to the regional hubs where clinical demand is highest.
The advanced procedures you currently refer out become clinical realities you perform in your own chair — including full-arch restorations, bone grafting, and dynamic navigation.
Select each stage to explore our comprehensive roadmap from foundational science to digital mastery.
The bedrock of implantology. Master foundational biology, surgical anatomy, osseointegration histology, radiologic diagnosis, risk assessment, and precise treatment planning protocols needed to select and prepare successful clinical cases.
Bridge theory to practice. Work in our advanced simulation labs. Refine hands-on motor skills placing implants on synthetic arches, practicing flap incisions, suturing, and surgical hand positioning under faculty direction.
Your first real clinical results. Transition to the surgical floor. Place single and multi-unit implants on live patients under direct, one-on-one supervision of credentialed clinical faculty. Take full ownership of surgical outcomes.
Elevate your clinical ceiling. Move into advanced surgical territory: guided bone regeneration, sinus elevations, immediate loading protocols, full-arch rehabilitations, and aesthetic zone management.
Command the modern digital environment. Master prosthetically-driven planning, dynamic navigation surgery, intraoral scanning, 3D guide fabrication, and photogrammetry workflows for sub-millimeter clinical accuracy.
We believe confidence is built in the patient chair, not a lecture theatre. Our location advantage in high-growth clinical centres across Asia provides unmatched live-patient case volume.
Every dentist works on real cases under close supervision. You place the implants, manage the flaps, handle digital navigation scans, and experience true clinical outcomes — from incision to closure.
Under the clinical leadership of Southeast Asia's foremost surgical pioneers.

Dr. Phong is the Head of Implantology at Kaiyen Center and the most senior clinical specialist in the region. Widely recognized as a surgical pioneer, he was the first dentist in Vietnam to successfully perform the All-on-4 full-arch immediate-loading protocol in 2010. Over his 25-year career, he has placed over 15,000 implants, directing all clinical operations and live-patient surgical mentoring at the institute.
Etymology — Name Origin
The name Kaiyen draws deliberately from the lineage of Kaizen (改善) — the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement. But where Kaizen ends, Kaiyen begins.
"Kaizen perfects what exists.
Kaiyen opens what's next."
Kaizen is about polishing the boundaries of what you already know. Kaiyen, formed by linking the characters for Open / Transform (改) and Unfold / Evolve (演), represents the continuous opening of clinical access, clinical mastery, and surgical horizons.
Evidence-based guides, surgical checklists, and patient communication scripts drafted for dentists transitioning to implantology.
